From an inside source that knows Big Al personally and has repeatedly come through with solid information, it has been diagnosed as a torn ACL, out for the season. They are going to find a 2nd opinion soon.

*Sigh* this was starting to be the most enjoyable season since 03-04 too =(

out for the season. thats just fucked up. he beasted on yao 2 days ago, then beasted he day right after that. sry for the wolves fans.

kevin love gets more minutes and im sure he'll drop close to al's numbers. sucks so much tho. on my fantasy team and he was arguably the best player on my team. rebounds and blks depended onhim heavyily and cuz of him i was tpo 3 in those.

hope he makes a speedy recovery. next season him and kevin will tear shit up

    yeah, this sucks...:sigh:

I like Harden, but I don't like the idea of having to push Foye to PG, to accomodate him.....we all know how he handled that.....:NOTMARIS:

Sucks for Wolves fans but at least they get to see Kevin Love develop and get more chances right?

Plus a better draft pick? I dunno, its probably good for the fans to see them playing good basketball than another season of tankage but Thabeet or Harden would both look good for Minny.

Yeah, I mentioned that on another post in regards to Big Al (merge please?!?). Looking at the bright side :sigh: Minnesota wasn't even expected to sniff the playoffs this year...so a better draft pick doesn't hurt. I just really like how they were starting to gel

I'm willing to trade Foye if we get the opportunity to get Harden. We could get a nice, young PG for Foye, maybe Ramon Sessions or Luke Ridnour from Milwaukee?

Blessing in disguise for Kevin Love. I wonder how it works out long term; do they intend to keep both and have Al Jefferson playing center?

I hope so. They can both be great players in this league from what I've seen. They just need another big, preferably a defensive stopper who is a pure center to be the third guy and come off the bench.

Im 100% against trading Foye. Dude can be awesome next to the right pieces. In his defense of playing the PG, the SG's he has played next to have been, Trenton Hassell, Ricky Davis, Rashad McCants, Corey Brewer, and a Mike Miller that was brand new to the team and absolutely refuses to take a shot. With the exception of Brewer (who is by no means a scorer) and Miller (if he ever gets his shot back) Foye hasnt exactly played next to a guy that he meshes well with.

I'd love Rubio on our team...but he's probably not coming out til next year...But I don't want to trade Foye. i think we can get plenty done with Miller a couple young players and the muiltple exp contracts in trades

If Rubio is guaranteed as a top 3 pick (and he would be) i have my doubts that he wouldnt come out. A shoe contract will easily pay for his buyout and the sooner he comes out, the sooner his rookie contract ends and the sooner he can get the big bucks. its obvious from the olympics he can play, so i dont think he would stay to hone his skills

He's been telling various souces that he intend to stay at least one more year....he is having a down year and recovering from injuries. If he stays one more year he has a better shot at going higher...and unlike this year....he could be #1 overall next year.

I think the difference btwn #1 and 2 is minimal. I dont have any sources saying otherwise but i just dont see him turning down guaranteed money for the title of being a #1 pick.

I see where your coming from, but with Rubio struggling this year and still trying to bounce back from an injury....not to mention the emerging play of guys like Harden, Thabeet, Blake, Aminu, Monoroe and even Jennings (who is doing better than Rubipo right now in Europe). he could easily slide down past the top 3...I'm just saying although he would still be picked high...he would do better for himself to take it slow and come out next year....he's only, what 18-19? the money will be there!
