If they win a title this year Kobe might consider would be my guess.

If he wants to take between $7-$10 million, I'd sign him. He is a great glue guy and goes through stretches where he plays phenomenal ball.

Hopefully it's below the $10M mark.

I agree, but in today's NBA, I believe that is unrealistic. Maybe it is more realistic with the way the economy is, but I doubt it. If Kwame Brown could've pulled in a contract for $9 million/year, Lamar can easily get $10 mill/year.

Players simply get paid more than they're worth in today's NBA.

    Great news.

OT: I had a dream tonight, and Kobe was in it. He said that if he won the championship this season, he would then retire...

Lamar's a great guy. He loves LA. He loves the city, the night life, he has a record label here, his family is here (I believe), and he loves the team. I remember when he first came here, he called us the Yankees of basketball. Regardless of how much of a paycut he decides to take, it's good to see someone who isn't all about the money, and actually wants to be a Laker because he likes it here. Unlike Sasha and Luke.

That isn't a dream. It is a nightmare.

Lol my pops said something quite similar a few months ago. At least he goes out on top, but he wouldn't just stop at 4 titles obviously, not with his demeanor.

Kobe could win 4 more titles, he'd still be upset he didn't win 5 more.

Kobe would not even contemplate retiring if he won it all this year. If anything, it would make him hungrier for another.
