I'm leaning more and more towards summer. I think a lot of teams are going to be in cost savings mode, offering pretty modest deals to the available free agents which could really open up some options for KP. My hope is that he is able to sign and trade for Ramon Sessions, Josh Childress, etc. or who knows maybe even some really lopsided trades could be worked out for a guy like Wallace, Butler, or some other really nice wing or point guard? We should all just be happy that KP is in the catbird seat and has flexibility to either accept or decline offers that are probably being floated out there right now. Don't get me wrong I think a mid-season trade for the right guy(s) before the deadline would be great and definitely a lot of fun, but there's still reason to be hopeful that the summer and draft day can produce some real benefits too.
There's no DEAL sporto . . . They will stand pat. Well, maybe they get Udoka or something. Nothing to write home about. They are obsessively committed to "the core".
What's the deal, yo!? "Dave's not here, man!"
