LOL @ the Clippers being involved.

I'm wondering how OKC isn't getting in on this.

No, you want them to take Hinrich and Nocioni.

You and I both know that Nocioni is going to retire a Bull.

I think OKC's plan is to sign a free agent this summer (Ben Gordon maybe. Maybe Carlos Boozer). Suck for the rest of this year, get their high draft pick. Draft someone at the top of the draft this year. Watch the Suns suck next year, and collect a high draft pick from them, while signing a 2010 free agent, making a beastly team.

Are the Bulls going Darius Miles on him this summer?

Those guys aren't going to sign with the Thunder. By getting Amare, they guarantee he's there until the end of 09-10, and there's a great chance of OKC being respectable by then, and by extension, a great chance of re-signing Amare. If it doesn't happen (him resigning), its hardly as big a catastrophe for OKC as it would be for Memphis.

Possibly, but there's a lot of 'chance' in that plan.

Amar'e would be nice, but not at the expense of our best young prospects.

Dumb Dumb Dumb KP. If you get a chance to trade Bayless for Amar'e Freaking Stoudemire you do it, no questions asked. I can understand Aldridge, but Bayless, no way. I'm afraid KP is falling too much in love with our players, and that he may not make a move at all this deadline. Dammit!

Huh? The article said he wouldn't be willing to trade Bayless AND Aldridge, not Bayless OR Aldridge.

It depends on how you interpret the sentence "Talk between Portland and Phoenix has been dormant for days, with the Blazers unwilling to include rising star forward LaMarcus Aldridge and rookie guard Jerryd Bayless in any deals for Stoudemire." Does the author mean that Portland is unwilling to include LMA and is also unwilling to include Bayless OR does the author mean that Portland is unwilling to package LMA and Bayless for Amare.

If we end up with LMA, Oden, Joel, AND Amare, who starts? Who plays how many minutes? It seems like too much talent. Would LMA be relegated to reserve minutes??? Or Oden for that matter?

I think Aldridge would lose minutes initially.
