dont tell certain guys that we need an upgrade at pg or sf..... and dont try to make sense that the bucks are the perfect fit.

Neither Sergio nor Outlaw are starters other than in injury situations, and Outlaw frequently plays the PF position in the final minutes of close games.

Upgrading is less about those two players than it is about getting Batum on the bench, which is where he should be right now. This isn't a slam on Batum, either. Webster seems to be a lost cause this year, or at the very least has shown he is at his best a draw at SF when healthy.

How is Ridnour going to improve our PG defensive woes? Give me a break

Funny, though, how the only time Luke (or anyone on our roster not named Blake) has made the playoffs, he was playing that horrible perimeter D, while having defensive stalwarts behind him like Nick Collison and Jerome James....how they had the 2nd-most efficient offense in the league with the 27th Pace Factor...how they took the Spurs deep into the 2nd round. Let me reiterate: he had a prime Ray Allen, a burgeoning stud in Rashard and that's all she wrote. (Unless Jerome James floats your boat).

Lots of ways to play the game. Individual D seems less important than Nate's idea of "staying connected", which Luke R seems smart enough to understand.

I prefer Sergio to Ridnour, personally.

Jefferson would be a nice upgrade in the starting lineup, but I'm just not convinced that he's the best use of the RLEC...

The plus that I see with Luke is that he seems to have a grasp on his limitations, which Sergio does not. Nate's much more comfortable with that, it seems.

But if I had to look at it, is blake > luke? I'm not so sure. Blake has him beat on 3's. I like Rid's mid-range game better, and Luke's got much better court vision.

Me neither, but if it means getting an instant upgrade at SF, I'm willing to put a lot of thought into this decision.

Outlaw may average 20 ppg for a bad team, FWIW.

I dont think Ridnour is worth it. Blake is on a very cheap deal. I see them as being on the same tier of talent level.

unfortunately ed... i dont think we have many options.

Its really In this order as far as a real chance....

Jefferson/Ridnour (raef and outlaw and sergio) i really think this makes so much sense in reality for both teams

    Salmons (frye/sergio)

    Carter (who knows)

    Deng/Kirk (doubt it)

Butler/Sanglia (slim to none) (My personal fave)

He just might. In fact, I'll go a step further and say he'd have a couple of 40-point games sandwiching a couple of 3-15 games. He may average 20, but the distribution....just too much for me.

My point was that limited players can put up numbers on bad teams. Which is why all the posts about getting players from bad teams puzzles me a bit. At least Jefferson has played on some winning teams, and he has performed in the playoffs.

Jason Richardson going to PHX should be the poster-player for this school of thought.

JEfferson would be the perfect fit.

He played with kidd and carter....knows his role. Roy and LA are the stars

Carter on the other hand... would wanna be the focus and take teh game winners. I would want roy anyday taking those.

No Carter wouldn't. If you've followed him before, you'd know that he struggles as the first option.

Even now, he's number 2 to Devin Harris.

Carter would be the perfect 2nd/3rd option. I'd rather have him than RJ at this point, especially since his 3rd year is only partially guaranteed.
