NJ and Thorn are the hardest team/person to trade with IMO. He is a complete ass and trying to trade for Harris would be almost impossible.

Put it this way... if the Blazers coughed up Roy, Przybilla, and Rudy, the Nets might consider it.

The Nets would trade Harris and a 1st for Roy... who is better than Harris and is younger. I'm pretty sure almost every GM would take Roy over Harris.

But PDX would be the laughing stock of the league to trade Roy for Harris.

Anyway, would you guys do that Raef trade for David Lee and then build a package around Rudy and Aldridge and Bayless and try to get a Devin Harris type player?

    Harris, Roy, ?, Lee, Oden

Absolutely wouldn't trade LMA, Rudy and Bayless for Harris. Harris is a good player but not a great player. I wouldn't even trade LMA for him but I know some people would. I think Bayless has a chance to end up as good of a player as Harris.

    1) Roy is not better than Harris.

    2) Harris is the best scoring point guard in the league and very soon will be in his prime.

Who are you again? Harris isn't better then Roy? Roy is a top 5-10 player in the NBA right now. I'm not sure NJ would make the trade but Thorn probably wouldn't make the trade for anybody but Lebron. You talk about people over valuing their players then you have to talk about Thorn. Harris is a good player but not great. He is close to top 10 PG in the league but Roy is a the top 10 players in the NBA.

LOL! OK. You think more GMs would take Harris over Roy? Roy is the better leader. Isn't Roy scoring more than Harris? Roy is the leader of a team at #4 in teh west with the youngest playing rotation in the NBA... oh and he is YOUNGER. Go check the main board... there is a thread on the main board of Harris/Roy and Roy had like 75%-80% of the vote. Roy is the 3rd best SG in the NBA, and you have seen what he has done in that past 2 all-star games while Harris just got to his 1st at age 25 (and lets be serious about the competition at the PG position out east...) and Roy has been to 2 in his first 3 years by the age of 24 with a ROY award. Should we compare the games Roy and Harris had during the all-star games? Did you watch the game when Portland went to NJ earlier in the year? Harris got outplayed by Jerryd Bayless...

Your arguement is Harris > Roy... ok...

Now there is a possibilty that you are saying this to get under people's skin, which you can't count out since you seem to have a little bitterness in ya toward the Blazer fan base. Meh... I actually hope you are joking.

LeBron James Kobe Bryant Chris Paul Dwyane Wade Dwight Howard Tim Duncan Kevin Garnett Paul Pierce Dirk Nowitzki Chris Bosh Carmelo Anthony Deron Williams Amare Stoudemire Yao Ming wat thanks for playing.

Harris is CLOSE to being a top 10 point guard?

Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Deron Williams... who else is better than Harris? Don't say Steve Blake.

I don't see how the Spurs could trade for RJeff. I don't see why the Blazers would trade for Vince. I could definitely see the Blazers making a move for RJeff, however, he looks like a good fit.

I'm not sure about RJeff vs. Gerald Wallace. I think the Blazers might prefer RJeff because he's got a rep as a hard worker and good teammate, and can actually shoot a three pointer. But Wallace is two years younger, which is something important.

If you think all those guys you listed are better then Roy I don't need to even post anymore. I will just let you live in your fantasy world were Harris is better then Roy.

Tony Parker is better... IDK if i'd say Steve Nash is better... I think Harris has been better this year. In my book Harris is a top 5 PG, but Rose will pass him up soon enough.

The bold are really the only ones i'd for sure take over Roy... other than those 7, you have 8-10 as a toss up, and i'd put Roy as one of those 3 positions.

And LOL at putting Carmelo in there.

We are going on how good they are RIGHT NOW, not their reputation or the last 3 years even... Isn't Roy like a top 8 PER player? He was above Kobe for a while, IDK if he is anymore.

In case you haven't been paying attention, currently Phoenix and Utah would be in the lotto right now.

New Orleans with their changes may very well be a lotto team, if the Chandler trade impacts them badly. They weren't playing that well with him, and I don't think the trade was an upgrade in talent, but it does give them more depth.

There are only 8 spots. Somebody has to lose out, and for the past several years it has been the Blazers. Considering that Phoenix played really badly to start the year, and Utah was injury riddled, it would not surprise me at all if they pull their shit together and knock Portland out.
