And lays it on thick: What the deuce? I can certainly live with Kaman if the price is right, though not enthusiastically, and certainly not as enthusiastically as getting freaking Chris Bosh. I mean... jeez. And Bosh will make any 2010 free agency move very difficult since he'll be making $12.4M after including his trade kicker.
Kamen is just as good as Bosh... he might not score as much but hes really a poor man's dwight howard. He's a rebounding machine, he blocks shots, and he has some post moves. Bosh would be great but thats not gonna happen. If they can the bulls should definitely pull the trigger on this one
Ehh, the Clippers are stupid though. They wanna run Randolph, Camby and Kaman together once he's healthy even though it's a terrible idea. I don't think we should trade Tyrus for him but Gooden, maybe Noah? I don't know, apparently they're not budging on a trade for him.
Kamen IS NOT JUST AS GOOD AS CHRIS BOSH! No one in the world would ever even consider him close to be as good as Bosh.
A rotation of Kaman, Noah and Tyrus might turn out to be pretty good going forward, but Tyrus is going to want a raise and eventually Noah and I'm not sure that Kaman's increasing salary is a great idea in a shrinking cap situation.
Tyrus has had 1 good month out of 2 1/2 yrs, and he doesn't have very much market value which we are finding out-on the count of teams thinking he isn't enough to anchor a trade with some expiring contracts. So without value from other teams and still not proving anything at all the Bulls would be dumb to give him a lot of money. Most people would consider him a bust. And with Luol clearly not performing after getting his big deal and most of the league saying he's over paid then hopefully the Bulls have learned their lesson to over paying super streaky players. Same thing applys to Noah, imo.
I agree with the not overpaying part, but TT is still just 22. He's got a couple of years before he is a true bust. But he needs to keep improving and being more consistent.
