Some people would find a way to dump on a Blazers RLEC for LeBron trade.

I see him as 3rd string behind both Bayless and Rudy at the 1 and 2 spots, there is no room for him

This trade will go down by the 3rd qrt. Steve's shoulder will be ok and the deal will be finalized, sending Sergio out...

I know, but I still don't see how he wouldn't have a spot on the team as a guy to develop. Ager is the guy we cut if this trade went through. Ager is garbage

You know I hate to bring this up too, but a lot of folks don't know that Shavlick Randolph can actually play a bit. I was pretty surprised that Nate didn't give him a run after some of the crap play we got from Charmin and DNPogu.

He is keeping him un-scouted for a deep playoffs run.

Ruffin has not played a single minute this year, and his pathetic excuse of a career is now behind him.

That still leaves him ahead of Sergio in defensive efficiency this year, no?

Oh you mean like where the Raptors nose dived after he left and he went to the finals as a Net? Yeah that's terrible.

Vince Carter is no LeBron James.

He may play in the same league, but he's not in the same league.

vince wouldn't make as much sense or fit as well as any of the other sfs brought up here, but i could still see a deal like that being good for portland. as long as vince is willing to take a backseat to roy and share the ball with aldridge/oden, this deal improves portland for now. then the question is just what he has left in the tank.

It has less to do with Thorn and more to do with Ratner.

Vince never went to the finals. He was traded to them 2 years after their finals appearance - but did make them better for a couple of years compared to what they were the year he was traded.

NJN went down the tubes because Kidd was becoming disinterested/too old/lost a step.

Vince was actually pretty decent for them.

Oh I think he is a decent prospect and he wouldn't be cut. I sort of like his game.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Sure he is. They're both in the NBA. AND play in it. C'mon MARIS, you know this.
