Re: Sessions? i think we would have to part with one of our young 3(batum, bayless, rudy) to get sessions. i like the idea of trading rudy over the other 2 although we could bayless since sessions would be our pg of the future
Re: Sessions? that deal for RJ and Ramon looks very nice. Problem is, it won't work with the Salary Cap. Bucks need to send us a junk contract.
Re: HoopsWorld Morning Report - Moving Wallace/VC? I was playing with the new trade machine and started thinking about 3 ways like that when RJeff and Rid first got mentioned. Larry Brown is well known for loving veteran players, particularly PGs. So... instead of us getting stuck with watching Nate lose his mind watching Rid's matador defense, make the deal a 3 way with Charlotte. Bobcats get Rid. Blazers get Felton. An everybody wins trade. Larry Brown gets his veteran PG (without having to drag Tinsley out of a strip bar). Nate gets a PG with a solid defensive skill set. Bucks get to cut their salaries since everyone's injured (including the Bucks mascot blown out ACL).
Re: Sessions? I would be angry if that ends up happening, but it won't happen, so I won't be angry about it.
Yeah, it would probably end up being Bayless for Sessions in that deal. IDK if I like that, but if we aren't playing Bayless over Sergio, it may be worth it to have a Sessions/Blake PG rotation.
Re: HoopsWorld Morning Report - Moving Wallace/VC? In the Knicks game a couple of weeks ago, Nate Robinson came off the bench and started torching Sergio and Bayless penetrating to the basket in the second half. It was ugly. KryptoNate had 19 almost all in the 2nd half. (Nate got his career high against us last year against the same way. 40+ points. Mostly penetration plays) Finally, McMillan calls Batum over and starts pointing and talking kinda animated. Batum comes and stats defending KryptoNate.... and got him under control. Didn't shut him down completely, but the penetrating to the basket stopped. Nate only scored via perimeter jumpshots the rest of the night. Batum stayed in defending Nate until about :30 secs left in the game
Re: Sessions? If Kevin Pritchard pulls off a RJeff/Sessions trade, I'm going to be forced to petition the Vatican to send an exorcist to Portland, because that will be proof Kevin Pritchard sold his soul to Satan for demonspawn GM powers.
Re: Sessions? My own personal take on Ramon Sessions is that he is our FA Target pending we stand pat and don't make a move today.
I don't think that Sessions is as unavailable as some around here... the Bucks coaching staff preferred a healthy Luke Ridnour to him, with Luke starting all 49 games this year and playing about five minutes a game more than Ramon. I like Sessions, but I don't give up a ton to get him, personally. Definitely not Bayless and probably not three rotation players in Blake/Sergio/Outlaw. Ed O.
Re: HoopsWorld Morning Report - Moving Wallace/VC? I'd agree he probably doesn't want VC. KP has always been a guy who has a specific target and does whatever he has to to get him. If Wallace is his target, I think he will give a little at the last moment if necessary. If he really only needs to take back Nazr Mohamed's contract or give up a first round pick to get him, I hope he does it. But he is hoping Charlotte will give in first.
Re: HoopsWorld Morning Report - Moving Wallace/VC? Well, here is a possible idea: http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=5029220 Portland trades RLEC and Outlaw and gets back Felton and Wallace and Mohamed. Milwaukee gets Outlaw and gives Ridnour to Charlotte. Charlotte does this if they like Ridnour better than Felton, or think he will settle in better as 2nd team PG. Presumably Portland does it because they think Felton is the better PG. Milwaukee does it because for some reason the trade checker allows them to trade a lot higher salaried player out than what they take back. then they can trade Jefferson to Cleveland for Wally whatshisname contract.
