Re: Trade deadline Sounds like centre Patrick O'Bryant is headed to Toronto for Will Solomon. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?page=TradeTalkRoundup-090218
thats exectly what raps did, since they traded o'neal and hump is not playin they needed a big man! his not that bad, atleast BC made 2 moves in 1 season!
when i heard about the trade, i was disappointed then i remembered all of colangelo's great success in bringing big men to toronto, i,e.bargnani, jawai, jake, kris humpries and now patrick obryant
o'bryant highlight video, yeah it exists!!!
Solomon = Juan Dixon, O'Bryant = Primoz Brezec. Insignificant deal. We should have traded Anthony Parker. And I know that makes this team that much more unwatchable for the rest of the season, but it benefits this team in the long run.
ap expires at the end of the season and i dont think we would get much back for an aging guard. and pat obryant= OGRE
Yeah, but the Celtics didn't, since I'm a Celtics fan that kinda what I was moving towards. At least Solomon ended up across the country and we opened up a roster spot. I'd rather move PO'S for nothing than for a 31 year old shitty chucking guard.
Marion will be MVP, DPY, ROY, 6th Man, COY, EOY, Make the first, second and third offensive and defensive team and cure cancer.
I think we could've gotten something decent for him. AP's a great veteran role player for teams gearing for a playoff run. His expiring contract probably makes him more appealing, because almost every NBA team seems worried about the cap being lowered in the next couple years. More importantly, dealing him removes the temptation for BC to re-sign him this summer. But you are right about O'Bryant. The dude's beastly.
