Well it wasn't just pretty, they were pretty epic numbers that's the only reason why I wanted to bring it up again. Dude played just 26 minutes and had 42 points and had 29 at halftime(pace was fast and the Clippers suck of course and were injured, those are fair counter-points). I think your criticism of him was right before though, but how good do you consider him to be in that kind of offense? How would you compare him to Pau after observing that? Just wondering.
In an uptempo offense, he is definitely better than Pau. In a traditional style of offense, Pau is better. Amare was nothing too special when the Suns had Porter as coach. And as we've seen, the Suns style of ball doesn't win championships. Plus, the Clippers are the worst team in the league.
Well two years ago they could have won a title if Amare would have sat his ass down, that punishment was a bit harsh although Stat put himself out there. That style isn't completely worthless but the Spurs were a fearsome dynasty in their earlier years obviously.
