You know the thing also listed there is a point I bring up a lot. Portlands players are viewed as too nice of players. I seriously believe that one of the best things that could happen is if Aldridge would just lose his cool and beat some players ass one night to get that monkey off their back. A couple of game suspension? So what. Pussy label removed.

I don't see it as sad -- I'm glad that Brandon is conscientious enough to avoid the histrionics of the league's true whiners, but also smart enough to recognize that in the NBA (as with many, many other subjective situations) the squeaky wheel really does tend to get the grease.

We will need to get calls once the playoffs start. I think BRoy does a fine job with the refs!

The sad part is that complaining is rewarded. The fact that Brandon is basically forced to complain is sad. I agree that he is wise to recognise it, but it is still sad that the NBA is so manipulating.

Roy is composed on and off the court. I thought he nailed the answers while Quick tries to corner him with what a NBA ref said about him.

It is nice to have a down to earth, well spoken leader. I don't know if Roy will always be the most talented player on the Blazers, but he will always be a team leader.

He is slowly building a foundation with the refs that will help him and our team in the future. Well done!

Have any of you ever read Rudy's blog? His comments about the reffing are hilarious. The most hilarious one I read was where he surmised that Corey Magette must have hollow bones, because he barely gets touched and flies through the air, like he is light as a feather, and that Rudy was concerned for his health. I was almost crying I was laughing so hard. :biglaugh:

Nothing at all wrong with being compared to Uncle Fester. He was the coolest character (outside of Gomez) on the whole f'n show.

LMFAO! Oh my God! I love Roy, he is funny as shit. You tell 'em B-Roy!

HAHA! Man, I love Rudy also. Ever since we stopped massively overrating him (around the olympics) I've started really liking him again. The guy is funny as shit and is going to be an extremely good player.

    Nice.

I see you're pretty fast with that beer bottle too -- the thing is like a blur in that picture.

That has to be the single most accurate article I've ever seen from Quick. It is so, so true. Even our Blazers teams of the early 90's, the ones that competed with the Pistons and the Bulls, could never get on the right side of the refs. I doubt this team will fair much better, but I hope they try. And this is how it's done:
Go get 'em Brandon. And take Oden with you.

Do not discount the attractiveness of Uncle Festers wife. He married Betty Grable for pete's sake! The "original" Betty!

that just needed to be done.

yeah, I'm sure this time it will be different :rolleyes2:

my guess as to when PDX starts getting a fair shake from the refs in the playoffs will be when they have a player (or players) who can move product nationally. Greg might have the best chance of doing this, but he's going to have to elevate his game.
