Interesting that some people think that scores like that equal no defense. Back in the 70s through the mid-90s, scores like that happened every night, and believe me, some of those teams played in-your-face, knock-you-down defense that today's teams would whine and cry to the league about. The game itself is weaker. The players are bigger, more talented, and better athletes, but the game itself is a shallow shell of what it once was. You can blame ESPN, bling, and thousands of middle school kids being coddled and told they are the next Jordan by agents and money-grubbing family members for that.
Ummm... I was watching the game. I can assure you they weren't playing defense. Agree with the rest of yr post though... even though it appears you are contradicting yourself.
