He shot 7 of 14 from the field. He had a good game and we should've gone to him more. That play for LMA should've been run for Outlaw.

You don't remember that ridiculously stupid shot after the steal at the end of the third quarter?

He should have passed to an open Roy.

I agree to an extent. I'm hoping Rudy develops a little more.

It looked bad on TV but it wasn't bad at all. First of all, HE was the one who got the steal, thus preventing THEM from scoring, and then the passing lane was cut off and a pass most likely would've been a turnover so he raised up, VERY HIGH, and shot what is an open shot when he jumps that high. It was a good look and he missed it. But you forget to give him credit for the steal.

For one, it was Batum who knocked it away to Outlaw, so Batum should have got the steal. He should have passed it off when he got it but instead ran down the court, when he did, he should then have passed it there but didn't. He was visibly confused as to what to do so he forced up a shot.

These last 26 games are going to be the high point of the season since the Blazers will do jack shit in the playoffs.

    Enjoy these games.

I'll enjoy the home games. This team is still brutal on the road.

Not making a deal pretty much sealed our fate for one and done in the playoffs.

a top 4 seed means 4 home playoff games which means the blazers likely would advance to the 2nd round. and even if the blazers are brutal on the road, if they can take care of business at home all it takes is one road win per series to advance(if they don't have homecourt).

to say it's not possible for the blazers to advance and that the blazers playoff fate has been sealed would be silly.

You are a Rockets fan first and a Blazer fan second right? I'd like to hear your opinions on the game and who you really believe is a better team.

While that's probably true, I don't think a trade would have made Portland have a great chance at not being one and done. Wallace/Butler/Carter aren't going to help this team play better on the road.

This team needs a real PG more than anything. Someone to set the flow of the game and keep it that way. None of the PGs on the team can do that.

yeah. rockets are my favorite team. roy is my favorite player, blazers my 2nd favorite team.

it's hard to say at this point who the better team is. i'll have to see more of the rockets with tmac gone and lowry instead of alston to really make a judgment. but so far as long as artest isn't playing selfishly and throwing up shots, the rockets have looked very good. both teams are much better home teams than road teams.

as far as this game, it would be a lot easier to tell had the refs not taken some guys out of the game with bad foul calls. all the stars struggled shooting. these two teams matchup pretty well though and i'd love to see a playoff series between them(in the western conference finals of course). rockets have artest and battier to throw at roy and a good group of pfs to give aldridge trouble while the blazers have a lot of big bodies to throw at yao.

Yeah, it did seem like the refs took the stars out of the game. (Or rather, the stars took themselves out of the game) It's harder for Portland to play without Oden obviously, but Houston didn't have Carl Landry either, so neither team was playing at full strength.

I think what's interesting about the Rockets is that they seem to play so much better without McGrady. Every time I watch them, McGrady just dominates the ball, but just isn't good enough to take over games anymore. He also doesn't seem to play well off the ball.

I don't think it's even a discussion. The Rockets are the better team. In a 7 game series, I take the Rockets every time...........this year.

On a positive note, Batum is progressing nicely but needs to box out more and Travis is still clutch in the 4th.
Why not play Bayless more? When he gets in there as a 2 guard, he is not very effective.

yeah. with tmac there was a lot of standing around, wasn't good ball movement, and the team would go through stretches of not getting yao involved. now yao clearly is the focal point, but the ball and players are still constantly moving trying to get good shots.
