The reason why i was so upset we didnt make a trade has come to light the last 2 games. We simply dont score enough. We dont have an offensive force on this team to say the least. Thats why a RJ or Carter would have done so much for us. In these games where we dont score for 2 + minutes kills us. It makes guys like aldridge take 17 ft jumpers. Like Barkley said last year, if we dont start getting easy baskets, we arent making the playoffs.

And for all thos epeople who threw the " we are in 4th place shit" guess what, we are a half a game out of 7th.

Oh and the suns are 2 and a half back. Still wanna print those playoff tickets? I hope you are truly enjoying watching sergio and outlaw. they really put a team over the top. this is just the beginning of what a crushing march and april... it will be.... for blazer fans.

I don't think that wakeup call will happen until the Blazers miss the playoffs.

Does a "real" Blazers fan gloat about being "right" that the team needs help? Im not saying you arent a "real" Blazers fan but you sure make it easy to let your words define that you arent even if you really are.

And FWIW I wanted a deal at the deadline too but I would never gloat about it.

You'll still make the playoffs. Don't see you getting past the first round though. Which is a decent accomplishment for a team as young as this.

This team is frustrating for many fans right now. While it is enjoyable to see a GM make a great move, it is also really hard to sit back and feel the hollowness in your gut when you know they have fucked up. It doesn't make people any less of fans. It is just stating what you believe and in some situations, having the gnards to "Call a Spade a Spade.". :pimp:

And people say MIXUM is never positive. Truly hoping we are enjoying our basketball watching experience is a wonderful sentiment.

Thank you, MIXUM, I am truly enjoying watching the Blazers this season. I truly hope you are, too.

The Blazers could win the whole fucking thing, and MIXUM would complain that we didn't sweep.

The point is...the tipping point keeps changing. It started with playoffs. When Portland was playing well and had the 4 seed and was right on the cusp of the 3 seed, it changed to being able to get out of the first round. Now that Portland has lost a couple of games and is in the 5 seed, it's back to making the playoffs.

If the team won the first round, the tipping point would change to winning the second round. Many other fans are doing a similar thing, actually...shifting the expectation as things go along, such that the team is always disappointing.
