Rudy hitting that rookie wall?

    Probably wishful thinking, but I consider Rudy a cerebral player. Give him an off season to figure out how to be more effective, and I think he will.

    I know what you mean about the culture shock, mook. Rather than hitting upon arrival, it often hits much later, or even during a second trip. I felt just what you described during my 5th month in France -- it became kind of a claustrophobic feeling. At the end I was desperate to get back home.

    bigbailes is right. The guy hasn't had any time off in over a year. Those stretches like that affect every player. That, and injuries, are why I don't want the Blazers players to play international ball in the summer, olympics or not.
