Talk about no activity, the 10 most recent threads are either predictions for the predictions game or predictions game results/standings. Gramps...
The worst part is the views. Posting during a game and not getting any replies is bad enough, but when I notice that there were 0 views I finally gave up on game threads.
BBF's admins/super mods stormed the Blazers forum and re-routed all politics-related threads in Blazers OT to the site's politics forum. This angered your fellow Blazer fans, some of them were banned, ABM knew about this place as an alternate site, and here you all are. Basically that whole site is slowly going down the tubes as a result of irresponsible management jackhammering their thumbs up their asses and thinking that running a forum similar to a holocaust camp is a good way to do things.
I'm with JE. Do we really need continual reminders about a site that most of you people posted at? We get it. No one posts there. Bringing it up doesn't accomplish much.
Some people like to see their ex-boyfriend/girlfriend suffer with severe depression and possible drug addiction, I guess. Not me, I hope BBF cleans itself up and gets its life back in order, but I don't need to hear about it. I'm with someone new and ties have been cut.
People can post pretty much whatever they feel like here. That includes threads about the status of BBF. If you don't want to read it, don't click on the thread.
Bah. Too logical, tlong. Better to click on it, read the posts, and then complain about that you clicked on it and read the posts. Ed O.
That reminds me of a joke. A VERY old joke. Tell if you have heard this one before. Patient: Doctor!, doctor!, it hurts when I do this (physical movement) Doctor: Well, don't do that then. Rimshot.
I checked back there a month or so ago. I made a post. Got a response. Replied. Was asked a rather inane question. Replied again. Another inane question. Repeat. I soon figured out a mod was just asking me anything he could think of to generate some action. I baled. It made me kind of sad really. I've been e-hanging with a core of posters there and at a couple of previous sites for almost a decade, and now a lot of that is splintered off, and a lot of people I knew either aren't around or like me don't post much anymore. Oh, well. Now I only go there to check up on Michael. Here's to ya man!
Its not that it bugs me -- but gossiping about BBF like this makes it look like you miss it. The best way to show that a site is history to you is to stop talking about it.
