I can honestly say I had never watched even one episode....until earlier this week. The wife basically commandeered the hdtv. It was just alright. Yeah, OK, I was kind of curious on Wed. night as to who had won (my wife even made me make some predictions.) All in all, though, nothing I'd really get all jumping-up-and-down about in the future. You?
Same boat as you, never watched it except for one time when it was forced upon me. I hated it so much that I'm going to rep everybody that posts in this thread to agree w/ me
I watched it one season because a friend of mine wanted to watch with me, since I was living near her for once. We made it a regular thing, got Whole Foods pizza, so it was fun on a social level. Never bothered to watch on my own, though.
I watch the auditions because there are some really funny ones. I won't watch it out of choice but sometimes I have to.
Yep. We aren't watching as much this season as past seasons though. I missed the results, did Norman Gentle make it into the final 12?
Only the first couple of shows with all the idiots but knowing those are all staged made it lame...and tivoed, cause Im sure as hell waiting thru commercials to watch that crap. But I do have a question...They have 4 judges this year, so on the auditions when two would say yes and two would say no to the contestant going to Hollywood how was it resolved?
I don't like American Idol, or America's Got Talent, or Dancing With The Stars but for some reason I like So You Think You Can Dance. Go figure. So to answer your question, no.
Wife loves it. I've never missed an episode. I think it's FRESH!! It's OK to be a gangsta' AND watch American Idol right?
