It doesn't usually snow here in Atlanta, so the community is buzzing with chaos, weeping, and gnashing of teeth. Quick! Buy up all the bread, milk, and eggs! Yeesh, what do people eat when it snows.....French toast, for heaven's sake?! I'm virtually the only person in Atlanta who wears shorts in the winter. It's my NW roots, I'm tellin' ya!!
It snows all the time here, but people still rush to the market for a week's worth of food every time. But anyways, I can only imagine how badly the roads get in ATL when it snows. Here they are ready for it. They stockpile sand and salt, have a million plows, a ton of experience, and they still suck at clearing the roads when it snows.
That is a very nice house, folks. Mrs BP & I have been guests there. If anyone would like to buy it, make an offer. It might be for sale at a great price.
I was supposed to go to the Hawks/Cavs game last night. But, my friend who had the tickets (great ones, I might add) calls and essentially does the "Whaa, it's snowing here. I think I should stay in" number. Trust me, if my wife weren't sick, I would have simply driven up there (he lives about 15 miles north of me and Philips is south of me) and said, "Hop in, dude, we're going." Whataya gonna do, though.
Question for you, ABM. How did you make your personal photos show up on the screen? Whenever I try to do that, the images appear as little icons that you have to click on to view. Did you first post those photos on the web and then post them here using the URL?
Yep. Google's Picasa woks very nicely for doing that. Not to mention, it has a nice liitle photo editing feature. I used it for that sepia/blurred look in one of those pictures. BTW, you can also upload an entire photo gallery as one url...such as I did in that ABM photo gellery thread.
