    Nice signing. I think this guy has potential to finish off his career strong. He's already 30 I believe, but has very few miles on his wheels.

    I think its a good signing....hes 28, so theres some tread left on the tires....hes not a feature back, but as a part of a committee, hes useful....

    I thought he was turning 29 or 30 this off-season, no?

    Chutney you know him best, do you think he can be a feature back?

    I'm glad Ward got his payday. He's a class act who deserved a starting spot after playing on the fringes of the league for years.

    That said, I'm not exactly sure why the Buccaneers are focusing so much on skill players during this little retool of theirs.

    Feature back, as in 20+ carries per game? I don't think he can do that. Even though he's not that worn out relative to his age, he's still had his fair share of injury problems the past two seasons. I think he can be firmly established as a number one option, but he needs a good O-line and a capable backup with a complementary style to be really productive. I don't think his ypc will be close to as high as it was this past season.
