cool, me too. You can do a lot of things, doesn't mean you should... And that's why there are problems. You want to "make us realize something" instead of just offering up your point of view. Your goal isn't to debate the merits of the Kidd/Harris trade, it's to prove someone else wrong. Can you imagine why people would find that dickish and respond angrily? I'm still pissed off about that first thread, sorry. Those are the only posts of yours that I remember, and I don't remember exactly which user posted what, so I'm probably mixing you up with someone else. My sincere apologies. So, maybe you and I should start over. Welcome to the Blazers forum? That's just not at all representative of what's been posted in here tonight. As I said above, I'm probably lumping you in with the others, so sorry, but my impression has been that people are here to troll. I post here in this Blazer community, which just happens to be, for the moment, at S2.
Re: About my thread Lakers being Suspended well the past 4 years is more relevant to the current lakers team than 5 or 6 or 10 or more. i'd assume that would have to be one reason. also, if you went back to include 2004, the pacers would "win" with all the suspensions from the brawl.
Re: About my thread Lakers being Suspended Probably Googled: Flagrant fouls ejection NBA. and those were the first 4 results to show up lol
that's not true. there were only a few people who didn't come here respectfully(i only saw mamba and lost one but there could have been more). but what did moo2k4 do tonight that was disrespectful in any way?
Well every merger or exodus is somewhat risky, hopefully they can all just stay here permanently. Like the Blazers or not I'd feel bad about such a large amount of posters leaving.
For now. I have no vested interest in S2. If it goes under tomorrow, I'll just follow the Blazers crowd to the next site. No biggie. BTW, my original post in this thread was warning that if you continue to let you're fellow mods act like dicks you risk driving away the one and only NBA team forum whose fanbase generates significant traffic on S2. So, again shouldn't you be talking to them about their destructive behavior rather than wasting your time trying to convince me to post in a bunch of dead forums that don't interest me in any way? Seems like it would be a better use of your time. BNM
Re: About my thread Lakers being Suspended Maybe that's why Nate Dogg's "research" only starts from 2005?
Re: About my thread Lakers being Suspended Or probably because if he took it 1 year back then it would be the pacers with the most ejections(credit to racketeer). Kinda makes his point about the lakers being the most ejection-prone team moot, no?
There were a lot more than just two, though I'm not sure if moo was among them. Sorry for generalizing all the "visitors." Again, I wish the initial thread was brought back to life, locked, just to show why I'd be pissed off about it.
Awesome, glad to know we agree. Very true, but where's the fun in NOT doing things? I wasn't trying to make you realize something until this thread. And call me crazy, but isn't part of debating trying debunk the other person's thoughts and prove them wrong? I guess I could see how some might react angrily, but I figured since I'm debating with mostly adults, it'd be ok. I guess I was wrong. Starting over sounds good to me, and apologies accepted. I just hope next time I come in here I don't get reamed for offering up a different opinion now. A lot of people do come around to troll. I'm not one of those people, and I apologize that some of my fellow Laker fans came in here and acted immature. And as a member of the staff, I'd prefer you guys stick around @ S2. And while you're at it, feel free to visit other forums. I swear Laker fans don't bite as long as you don't piss them off by doing what some of your fellow Blazer fans did the other night after the Blazers dick-stomped us.
Re: About my thread Lakers being Suspended Well, its not until lately that the Laker behavior is doing this and your team is being suspended by the league. Why doesn't your team clean up its act? How is 4 years ago til now unjust?
Maybe you are just joking, but it doesn't seem that the situation has reached a point where we would need to think about that. It appears that we were temporarily invaded, but the threads have been deleted and as long as it doesn't happen again, not a big deal. I would like to think that the administrators will have enough sense to see to that.
I was not one of those overzealous visitors you speak of And FWIW, it's probably best that that thread be kept deleted.
Re: About my thread Lakers being Suspended But why is "lately" only 4 years? why not go back 5, and then you have the pacers as "prone to be suspended"? But then you won't be able to talk shit about the lakers, right? Btw, would you be kind enough to tell me where you got your data from?
Re: About my thread Lakers being Suspended Not at all. How many of those ejected/suspended players still play for the Pacers? Last I checked the ejected/suspended players he mentioned, Kobe and Odom, still play for the Lakers. When was the last time Artest or Jackson wore a Pacers jersey? What happened five years ago, involving players long ago traded isn't really relevant when talking about which team is currently the most ejection/suspension prone. BNM
I think you didn't get my message though. The rest of the site uses the new posts page and scatters their attention everywhere. It's not about some arbitrary forum but all the other threads you do not visit because you just stay here. It gets quite active actually taking that into account.
Re: About my thread Lakers being Suspended That's funny, I could swear teams consisted of more than 2 people. So unless Odom and Kobe are the Lakers team, how is the statement "The lakers are prone to be suspended" correct in any way?
If they do, great. No reason to leave - and that was my original point. Continue to allow your moderators to bait, troll and act like dicks and don't be surprised when the majority people in the most active forum (by far) leave. BTW, I would have also thought the admins at BBF would have had enough sense to intervene and clean things up before letting it escalate the way it did. But, they didn't - or we wouldn't be here right now. BNM
