Man, the Blazers are driving me crazy.

Settling for those 20 footers, and Dallas is just packing the lane forcing us to take those long jumpers. Roy is the only guy that is attacking.

We are on this board because some of the moderators from other boards in the "is it happening again" thread suggested the idea that as the biggest community on the board maybe we should help other boards when talking about their teams - instead of focusing everything off-topic about other teams on our own board. This will help increase activity (in theory and hopefulness) and grow other smaller communities which grows S2 as a whole which would mean more visibility for s2 as a whole which could lead to more Blazer fans for us (in addition to other team fans).

Since the Mavs board doesn't have many (if any besides Vinyard at this point) I thought it would be nice if some of us came over and had a game thread discussing this game. Maybe a long-lost Mavs fan would see it if they happened to stop by and be encouraged. It is a step by step process.

I never thought we'd be playing for the 3 seed at this point in the season. Anyone else surprised by this? I'm amazed. It's a competitive conference and we missed the playoffs by 9 games last season. What an improvement!

Dallas just making many more hustle plays than Portland at this point all while Dirk is just killing it outside abusing whoever is on him (and hey it isn't Batum because you know having a 6'9 guy with long arms and good defensive instincts on Dirk would be a bad idea). This reminds me of the Christmas-day game where people were just angry at Greg for having like four rebounds that game while Barea had eight but Greg was getting boxed out and hung on by two guys so he couldn't get the rebounds but was still tipping them out. Just no one else was getting them and that is starting to happen in this game as well.

 

LMA had 8 rebounds in the first quarter!
