So, if I'm understanding him correctly the Lakers have sold the services of a professional basketball team to come into the Rose Garden and play basketball. But instead the Lakers have sent in professional basketball players who have slept instead? Couldn't that be considered bait and switch?

Not only should The Vulcans sue for damages they should consider pressing criminal charges. Told you Lakers are a bunch of thugs!

And eventhough, as a Blazer fan, I don't feel ripped off... the Laker fans (and really, any NBA fan, the NBA owners and advertisers, the league, and it's broadcasters) may feel differently. John Canzano is right. It IS about justice (God bless America).

Now I find myself at a crossroads:

Should I go back to my peaceful sheeplike life and continue to take this? I mean, they've been sleeping through every game in the Rose Garden since 2005 and we're just now hearing about it? David Stern HAS to be in on this.

Or should I stand up for justice for the greater good of society, the legal system, and the NBA eventhough I'm happy with the product I got?

Gosh darnit, I'm going to take a stand (God bless America)!

Why are you trying to say he wasn't even going for the hard foul when Trevor said, right after the game, he was trying to go for a hard foul?

It's been recorded by multiple sources... it's too late to take it back. David Stern isn't powerful enough to go back in time and erase it.

At least I don't think he has that much power. But really, how would I ever know? It would be like it never happened and I wouldn't ever question that it was gone because I wouldn't remember that it happened in the first place.

As long as they get in it's all gravy for me.

My only fear with drawing the Lakers is that they'll sweep the Blazers. We all enjoy the Blazers beating them all the time in the RG but the play offs are a whole different level of physical play. This Blazer team has no idea what that feels like but I bet it would feel more similar to the first game of the season against the Lakers than the last one.

I want them to get the experience of the play offs but I also want them to at least be competitive before they're eliminated. This year is a stepping stone and I'd love to see them get 7 games (or as many as possible) of experience out of the play offs but I don't see that happening against LA.
