It's the prize for being a good team. The site is "neutral" but clearly it's advantageous to the lower seeds...most of the time.
OU is officially in, that makes six teams from the Big XII. Mich. is in, does this mean that Penn State is out?
its been like that... xavier is good, they are one of my sleepers. i wish psu woulda got a diff match up..did anyone catch if its on a thursday or friday?
If you are a top 4 seed in a region, you will be placed as near home as possible based on the seed. I'm surprised that Gonzaga is coming to Portland instead of being placed in Boise. Seems like a gift from the NCAA to Portland there.
Great draw for Portland State. A #13 seed and they get to play in Boise against a Xavier team with literally no national following. Should be a heavily pro-PSU crowd.
I am pissed the Ducks didn't make it. Of all years to suck when you have a chance to play in Portland. They blew it big time.
Oregon is the host team for the Portland sub-regional. They wouldn't have been allowed to play in Portland even if they were a top 4 regional seed.
I'm thinking about looking for tickets as well. When do they set the times for the games and start selling tickets?
They normally go on sale the day after the selection show, but I think you have to get them though the colleges.
My bad, there's a site were you can buy them. http://www.razorgator.com/tickets/sports/basketball/ncaa-tournaments/
