if you have a nordstroms in town, work there if they're hiring. its one of the best working environments I've been in, everyone is really cool...hot girls everywhere too.
During the holiday season one of the girls who runs the security chased a guy out of the store. He pulled a box knife on her and she backed off. The called the police and the apprehended him at his house wearing the shoes he stole. He had recently been paroled from jail and in his defense to he police he said, "I just wanted a nice pair of shoes for Christmas, I have been in jail for seven years." Just for pulling out the box knife, shop lifting charges are escalated to armed robbery charges. Dude just wanted nice kicks.
haha, I think I'll go without a second job for a while. The wife just started a new job and we dont see each other enough as it is, weekend might be put to better use around the house.
I was told that his mom was at the house when apprehended, and she said she would have bought him shoes if he had asked.
Maybe it was working 56 hours a week for the past six months, or maybe it was just seeing the hard working people at Kohls bend over backward to please dishonest people. Say what you will about my choice of words, I never hurt anyone I cared about, and this lady certainly didnt deserve my respect.
Well, as you said, nobody likes me here, so it doesn't pain me to say that you seem to be in a bit over your head at the moment considering current property values in AZ. I guess I just don't consider your way of quitting to be acceptable, especially for a grown man. My guess is you wanted to get it off of your chest, but I just can't condone those actions as you presented them.
I work two jobs cause I like the extra money, not cause I'm in a dire financial situation. Although, like most people in Arizona I currently owe (278k) more than my house is valued at (245k). But, by the time I even think about selling it the market could have improved dramatically, that is if I ever need to move.
I wouldn't get on a 15 year mortgage. My parents were on a 10 year mortgage, and they just barely managed to get it switched to a 30 year mortgage before the economy went into the crapper. They would have lost the house otherwise.
