    Monday- chest/light legs
    Tuesday- biceps/back
    Wednesday- Shoulders/ Traps
    Thursday- Triceps
    Friday- Legs

League basketball after workout on Tuesdays and Wednesday for cardio.

I supplement with Animal Pump pre-workout and 100% ON Whey Gold Standard after workout. Eat tons of protein and carbs and drink tons of water,

Go by my routine and you'll be jacked in 3 weeks.

I usually work out around 4 to 5, sometimes earlier when I can, which is better because the gym isn't packed. Generally for about an hour and a half. During basketball days I can be at the gym for 3 hours.

Are you looking to get into working out or just getting a general consensus around the board? If your looking to get into it, its the best thing in the world. About the best natural high you can get is coming home from the gym after your muscles are swoll and the feeling of being pumped.

yeah, trying to get into it.....i was doing it for a while last year, then gave up when I got busy with shit. Got to find time to do it I suppose. I'll go into the gym tomorrow....work out on the machines just to get myself into the groove.

I got into a good groove a few years ago...right after college for a few...then kind of got lazy.

Bought some Muscle Milk at costco which taste good.

I split my workout into three sets. Biceps/Back, Triceps/Chest, Legs

I usually go two days on, one day off, so my schedule doesn't fit a weekly time line as it rotates. I usually workout around 7-8:30 pm. If I'm playing basketball, I'll just skip my lifting for the day, as I'm usually too tired to give it a good go on the weights.

Unfortunately I had a couple of injuries back to back that caused me to miss the gym for about 2 1/2 months, and I've yet to return is strong fashion. It sucks to see all the hard work disappear so quickly. However, I know that I can add probably 1.5 lbs of lean muscle to my frame per week if I'm eating and working out right.

I sometimes use Creatine, but not always. I love my protein. I use www.atlargenutrition.com. It is the best tasting protein that I've ever had. The Nitrean/Opticean/Maximus is very, very good in both taste and nutritionally. They use a blend of proteins so they are absorbed at different rates, which is ideal, and it doesn't clump at all even without a shaker. I really can't recommend these guys enough, great service and a great product. I'm loyal with them.

When lifting I'll have a banana for breakfast and a protein milkshake. But I'll use two scoops and 16oz of milk. Add another two probably at night, one before/during the workout and another post. Do that and you can get ripped pretty quickly depending on where you're starting.

It really helps for me if I have something to train for, a long term goal. Having a race in a couple months has kept me focused and helps break up a boring routine. It's easy to start a new program for a week or two but then there is a point where I need to start adding variety.

Also forcing myself to do SOMETHING every day. Otherwise it's easy to take 1 day off and that becomes 2 then 3 and so on. Even as little as a few minutes of pushups in the mourning.

Triceps and Chest is way too much working out of the same muscles for me, but I know a lot of people who do it that way as well.

What kind of creatine do you use?

That protein seems interesting, I've never heard of it. What brought you onto that protein as opposed to others?

Muscle milk is probably the best tasting protein out there. I had to switch from it, because I found myself snacking on it like 5 times a day. Way to expensive for me to be drinking like water.

Yeah, its addicting. The costco one isn't too bad, about a buck per serving....I was buying from the gas station @ 4-5 bucks a pop whenever I didn't have time to eat breakfast.

I've kind of been doing the same thing for over a year and I think my body isn't responding to it anymore. 30mins on the bike or elliptical at a high setting then basic work on the universal, arms, legs, chest, shoulders, back. 4 times a week. I need to come up with something new.

    Monday: 5x5 deadlift
    Wednesday: 5x5 benchpress
    Friday: 5x5 squats
    Saturday: 5x5 clean-and-press

~5 minutes rest between every set.

I have doing this routine for the that last 2.5 months. It doesn't seem like a lot, but it has improved my strength.

Goal is 1200 lbs deadlift-benchpress-squat combo (1 rep for each exercise, total weight lifted = 1200lbs)

The creatine I use doesn't really make a difference. I used to buy whatever they had at GNC, but lately I've been buying it from AtLargeNutrition as well, since they offer it in the combination stack packages.

I've never tried muscle milk although I've heard it's good. Based on all the protein I've tried, Nitrean is certainly the best.

Jesus, what do you weigh? 1000 is a lot for that, can't imagine doing 1200.

I weigh about 185lbs right now. I've done the 1000 lbs, moving in on the 1100. The 1200 is probably a stretch-goal. :)

    I'm pretty low-key.

Three days a week I do 30 minutes on the exercise bike. Then about 20-30 minutes shooting hoops (or an hour of playing racquetball if I can find a partner).

Also take the dogs for a walk a few times a week, and daily wrestle with my two sons.

My body is in a pretty sorry state right now thanks to several years of being ignored. I've been on this routine for a few months and I'm liking it.

My goal is to at least get in shape to the point where I could play some rec league hoops and actually be a decent player again on the block.

That's still crazy, although maybe not, it's been a while since I've deadlifted or squatted. I'm about 185 with 10% body fat, and I don't think I could pull that off. But then again I have/had a lot of room for improvement at my best anyways. I was doing like 700 pounds on the leg sled/press, so maybe it isn't that unrealistic anyways.

My goal is to basically just get bigger, so I don't do exercises that single out one muscle like any bicep work, or tricep, or quads or anything like that.

Go 3 days a week for about an hour. Its basically upper body/lower body every other workout, but the lower body is also back.

Gained about 5 lbs in the last month and a half.
