I think he will be a bit rusty and will definately have trouble with fouls, especially against a very small, pesky and fast team like the Pacers. Remember, in Greg's own words, he plays more physical than everybody else...hehe I am guessing 6 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 4 fouls in about 16 minutes.
102 points, 54 rebs, 23 blks in 24 minutes. After the long lay-off, he'll be totally stoked to play in front of his family and friends. Look for him to have the best game in the history of the Earth. Of course, if he falls short of those numbers, someone here will label him a bust and call him the next Sam Bowie. BNM
I didnt get to see Oden play tonight. I'm not sure if your kidding. Did Oden actually play well tonight?
Yes, Greg had a good game tonight in his limited play. Did a really good job on D and got some points also.
He played quite well. Only played 11-12 minutes, but got 7 boards and 4 points and was a difference-maker on defense. Also nice: He avoided fouls.
Oden looked just fine. His presence was felt. They did not force it in to him, so he didn't have an opportunity to post up (Which is fine with me) Overall he did not look rusty at all.
Great and I couldn't be happier if Oden can play off the bench and we don't need to use Frye anymore or at least just in garbage time.
I didn't watch the game, but I was looking at the Box Score and this surprised me: MIN: 11:52 +/-: +21
Yes, he did. 7 rebounds in 11 minutes. Made his presence felt. First game back in over a month. Impressive.
