I've proposed a bet to BP.

First of all, my wager is contingent upon LMA not playing.

I'm betting BP lunch that Frye will have less than 10 Points "and" 5 Rebounds in tonight's game.

    What say you?

BP is going to be hungry at the end of this bet.

While I don't bet, I think Channing is going to have a good game tonight (if LaMarcus doesn't play). 10/5 will probably happen by halftime.

The points I think he'll get. It's the rebounds I'm not so sure about. We shall see, though.

Since he needs both points and rebounds, I think taking the under is the safe bet. Free lunch, ABM!

    Depends on Nate.

Channing could do 22/8 if played as the 2nd option, but he's probably not going to see that happen.

Probably true, but any team that gave Frye the number of shots he'd need to score 22 points would probably only score 50 points for the game.

What are you both basing this on?

I don't see Channing equaling L-Train's production no matter how many minutes or touches he gets. He isn't going to get too many rebounds with Ilgaskus(sp), Joe Smith or LeBron out there. He shoots only 22 foot jumpers at an horrific percentage.

I am wondering what I could be missing in Frye's game after watching him suck all season that would allow him to nearly quadruple his output for this game.

Not that it would suck if he did. I just can't imagine it happening.

If I lose, I have chalupa coupons that are close to expiring.

It's a pretty fair bet... but I like your side, ABM. I think he could get 10+ points pretty easily (since he has no conscience about jacking up shots) but the rebounds might prove more challenging.

BP shamelessly supports Frye in every way imaginable. So, it's become a personal thing. :)

Sorry, but nobody "shamelessly supports Frye." No chance. Not possible.

But seriously, this is precisely why I don't like fantasy basketball - you're put in a position where there's a conflict between supporting your team and your own personal interests.

    I'll go with a Frye quadruple-double myself!

Well, 2 rebounds short of chalupas for that BP guy.

Channing is playing good so far. This has been an ugly game though, even though (currently) Portland leads.
