I'm pretty happy with the description of the Blazers, though I'm not quite sure that this is the year that we are likely to knock off the Lakers. Still, it's good to see some respect- the article talks about Roy as the 3rd best shooting guard in the league. Good stuff.
The same team that just beat the Cavs by 11 without KG, despite shooting 26 less free throws. Also, are you under the impression that Garnett is a bad basketball player? How about Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Glen Davis, Leon Powe, Tony Allen or Brian Scalabrine? All of these guys are in our rotation and have missed games in that time period. I don't know how you can judge the team based on that stretch.
I hear ya. Considering the Blazers' injuries thus far, they should have 5 to 7 more wins this season.
I don't think the point is that the Celtics "should have more wins." Just that the record over the stretch of games you mention doesn't necessarily represent the strength of the team in the playoffs. I think the Celtics should still be the favourites to come out of the East, if they're healthy during the playoffs, and perhaps still the championship favourites.
