Still pissed about the offensive foul on Roy in the 1st. There was absolutely no logic for the ref to make that call. How can someone make that mistake. It wasn't even close.
If they score another 64 in the second half, they'll win. The only way they'll lose this is if they start taking bad shots and cut their offensive efficiency. Right now, they're not really shooting like crazy, they're smartly taking apart the Phoenix defense. If they keep doing that, they should win.
I'm not saying they're going to lose, I'm just saying it feels like a 'small' 65, and that's only because I know the suns can fill it up. For instance if this was 65 against a grind it out team like the Spurs or Rockets it would feel like a 'real' 65.
It's just Charles being Charles, and it's possible he's right ... frankly if Oden develops into a 12/13/2.5 guy I'd be thrilled; this team has most of the offensive end covered.
I agree with you. This is their pace not ours. Fucking Nash is on fire. And Shaq always gets fired up to play us. This games makes me nervous
Why is Sasha called the Machine? He shoots 38% from the field and only 35% from the three point line. The Machine is broken.
Right, but my point is that while Phoenix can score a lot, making high scoring not sufficient to ensure a win, they're also more likely to keep bleeding points on defense...while the Spurs or Rockets would likely not give up a huge second half. Thus, I think the lead is just as "secure." Phoenix can light it up in the second half, but they can also give up just as much.
I don't agree at all. Portland is playing methodical offense. They've scored a lot because Phoenix's defense is getting cut to pieces and Portland is scoring at incredible efficiency. They're not racing up and down the court with Phoenix.
Pretty much spot on. Methodical, but incredibly efficient, is great way to describe our offense tonight.
