Houston has a very tough schedule if we could beat them on the road I def think we could have a chance at grabbing the forth spot for home court advantage. What do you guys think? There is all this talk about winning the northwest and getting HCA. Maybe we don't need to win the northwest. I know Houston has been playing well but they are only one and a half games ahead and they have a very tough finish in april.
If we beat them in Houston, we have a good chance, because that would give us the tie breaker. They have 3 road games against playoff teams(counting the Suns as playoff quality), and tough home games against us, Orlando and NO. That road game against Houston could very well be the pivotal game that decides homecourt for us. Especially since that is one of the games we are pegged to lose. If we can win there, we have a great chance of finishing with 53 wins. If we could pull that off, and earn home court against Houston in the 1st round, we'd have a better than even chance of beating them.
It could come down to that last game.. I could see it happening. Not saying it would be a cakewalk but that last game at the RG tips the scale to us IMO.
Whoops sorry I thought the Utah game was on the road for Denver.. so it would be a tough task.. but all it would take is us beating who were are supposed to beat, and holding serve at home, and them slipping up a little, while losing @ LA and @ Por
