Any smoothie fanatics? I made one today that was actually good. I just throw whatever fruit I have into the blender but today I used an actual recipe. Normal ingredients - bananan/strawberries/ice/ect....and one can of sugar free redbull. Give it a shot!

I make a lot of smoothies with different fruits/berries,yogurt or cottage cheese and flaxseed. Great about an hour before for a pre-workout meal.

My favorite is Naked Juice's Protein Zone. It has some pineapple, banana, coconut, apple, and orange. It can be a little pricey though, so I try to stock up when I find some on sale.

I have a smoothie for breakfast every morning. OJ,frozen strawberries, fat free yogurt and a banana. It beats the hell out of donuts.

    Love smoothies. :tongue2:

The best secret for making a good smoothie is to freeze the bananas and/or strawberries and skip the ice.

Good stuff after a run. I throw in yogurt, frozen berries... whatever we have for fresh fruit... flaxseed... maybe some vitamin water or juice of some type... and presto... recovery goodness. I do hate cleaning the damn blendor though... what a pain.
