Um yea I will get all over a Willamette Week Blazer preview. After all, Willamette Week is the sports authority, right?:devilwink:

Well that is a very good question. In the old days, I would have gone with Ed Whelan. But he is long gone. I miss the days with the burnt biscuit award!:devilwink:

However, in this times-of-change, Obama administration, the G.I. has been dropped.

I am aware ot has been - but I still can't bring myself to call it "Joe's".

For the record - the G.I. was dropped during the Bush administration - not that it matters much.

I remember his "milk runs" and "nice seein' you again, everybody" folksy-type demeanor. Good guy. Class guy.

Yeah and his saying "why cant the Blazers get a guy like that" remarks were pretty funny.. like in reference to Jermaine Oneal or someone the Blazers used to have.

I missed Ed yesterday when someone mentioned the "Crummy! game of the night." in reference to Kings/Clippers. Ed was my absolute fav sportscaster back in the day. Used to stay up till 11 after playoff games to watch the highlights (since we couldn't afford Blazervision).
