Simple question, which team has the most dramatic improvement in the win-loss column next season and gets in to the post-season and why?

    I picked the Timberpups.

They've got a legit low post scorer in Al Jefferson, Kevin Love has been surprisingly good, Randy Foye is a pretty decent shooting guard, all they lack is a more efficient point guard and by all accounts they are planning to make a run at a guy like Hinrich in the off-season which would make them not necessarily a contender, but certainly a well balanced squad. My second choice would be the Grizzlies, who really seemed to have blossomed under Lionel Hollins (Conley in particular).

OKC...very good core group of young guys. Might be fighting for a playoff spot next season. 2011 for sure. Memphis is right there too.

OKC hands down. Can you imagine if they win the lottery and get local boy Blake Griffin?

    Westbrook
    Durant
    Green
    Griffin
    Nenad/some random corpse

    O__O

I say Clips. They had a lot of injuries this season, and with Baron, Zach, Camby, Gordon, etc, I think they'll improve next year. I think Gordon is going to be good, and I suspect he'll be even better next season.

I don't think the Grizzlies are ready to make a move. Minnesota is playing decent, but I'm not convinced they are playoff material. The Thunder could be a darkhorse, depending on who they draft and whether they make any free agent or trade acquisitions.

I think it's been the Clips and W's, but I think the Clips are going to win out. I think Phoenix is going to blow it up this summer, and I think Dallas or San Antonio are the next old team that will fade next season.

Durant isn't a shooting guard though. I think they need to move Jeff Green for a legit shooting guard.

Nik said 2010 guys. The Thunder aren't challenging for a playoff spot next season. Maybe 2011, but not next season.

Too close to call, IMO. Depends on what happens this off-season. Any way you look at it though, the West is going to be absolutely crazy. No nights off.

The imbalance between East and West doesn't seem like it's going to get resolved any time soon. Kind of makes you wonder what the Blazers' record would have been if they played in the East and what the Cavs & Celtics fluffed up records would have been if they played in the West.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Next season, I'd pick Golden State. They have a lot of good young talent. They just need a competent point guard.

Long-term, I like the Thunder's future the best.

Seriously. Look at our eastern conference record and you get your answer. We beat the Heat, we beat the Magic (should have been a sweep), we beat the Celtics. The Cavs were the only team that got us twice out of their elite.

I think Minny would have been a tougher team if they took Lopez over Love.

Lopez and Jefferson complement each other to a T!

The Thunder just need a big (and a bench) that is worth a damn and they'll make some noise.

GSW on paper - but with Ellis not happy and mad Nelson at the helm - they could be a great team or a lousy one just as likely.

My money is on the T-Pups.

Just think if Minnesota had traded Mayo to the Nets for Carter and Lopez, instead of Mike Miller and Love.

I picked the Clips. If they would have been healthy this year, they would have challenged for a playoff spot this year.

I was really impressed with their defense last night. Their offense was seriously lacking though. No flow. Baron Davis is not a point guard. If they had a point guard it would make a huge difference.

OKC isn't going to be anywhere near the playoffs next year. I picked the Warriors. If they're all healthy this season, they would've won at least half their games.
