even if he plays well in the playoffs I think he's probably gone. I'm sure he wants a bigger role then Portland has and someone will make him a decent offer. About the only way I see him returning is if KP shakes up the roster like by trading Joel to acquire the top flight PG we're always speculating on. STOMP
Obviously, he's worried about that. Did you notice that in his postgame chat with RH he jokingly referred to himself as "The Glue"
Unless Frye morphs into a "Big Shot Bob" for us in this series (or beyond?) I think we've seen the last regular season game from the Frye Guy. I wish him well wherever he lands.
Wow . . . I don't think you have an accurate image of Frye. Not saying he is great or even good by NBA standards . . . but this is the first I have heard the accusation he has a low IQ and the implication he is selfish.
I just hate how whenever he comes in the game, they feed him 2-3 shots immediately to see if he's hot. Unfortunately for us hes rarely hot. I've watched him in pregame / halftime nailing shots (talking 15 in a row for 18 ft) then he can't make a basket if his life depended on it when the game is live. His defense is nothing to boast about either. I could do without Channing, but I don't know who we could get for him to make it worth our while with our salary cap issue. And yes, I do realize there were 2-3 games this season where we won because of his help, but in this case I think the cons outweigh the pros. I can see him being a foul man if we make it into the 2nd round, but he would have to get way more physical. I like Channing as a person, but he really needs to work hard in the off season if he wants more minutes next year, pending we don't trade him.
