Please. We would sweep the Jazz too. They've lost 8 of their last 10 games. The Warriors and T-Wolves won in Utah.

Bynum grabs 3 rebounds against a Jazz team that is playing without its starting center. Oden grabs 5 rebounds against a double headed monster of Yao and Deke. And Bynum is better??? LOL, no!

uhh...Oden played fine, but it was already garbage time against a 43 year old man.

Last time I checked Bynum wasn't a serious project.

Not true. Unless you consider garbage time started in the 2nd quarter. Oden had a good first half and helped us cut a 25 point lead down to around 19 during the third. We were making a push and Oden was a big part of it. But then Brooks started making every shot he took and it was over.

Yes, garbage time started when we were down big-time. No fault of Odens...but a +6 isn't that great. Given the magnitude of the Blazers first loss, although Oden and Roy were bright spots, I'm not giving Oden any props in a 27 point loss. well, i'll give them for showing up but not going to say he's winning a "battle of the centers" contest.

7 pts, 3 rebs, 0 blocks against an Okur-less Jazz says "project" to me. Thank goodness the Lakers have Pau or they'd get swept.

He obviously didn't win the battle of the centers, but he did play very well. You can play well without your team winning. LeBron played VERY well in Game 7 vs the Celtics, but the Cs won.

So by your calculations, Oden is a serious project and Bynum is just a project, yet Oden>Bynum.

    Okay, got it.

What's your hangup on the word "serious"? Project, serious project, whatever. They're both projects. They're not All-Star centers yet. Just works in progress.

This would be year 4 for Bynum. And he still only brings 8.5 & 3.5 with terrible shooting from the floor in key playoff games.

I'd tell you to learn the game, but I suspect you already know it.

    Thanks for posting.

Bynum is just better, and you're going to learn this the hard way as the playoffs progress.
