Can someone please explain to me McMuffin's logic?

nate really has this team over a barrell. they have to resign him this offseason and to a long term deal but i've been saying what Natebishop said all year long. while nate deserves some of the credit for the improvements of the last couple seasons, but i truly believe it is more because of the talent and maturation of the guys rather than the head coach. i favorite was when blake got his pocket picked from behind and barrett said nate was telling travis to tell blake that someone was behind him. hey nate, feel free to yell at blake yourself.

The other thing that pisses me off about Nate is that he never gets after the officials for questionable calls. He needs to stand up for his team every once in a while and pick up a T. Or at least do what Popovich does and get into the official's ear so they have to pay attention to what the other team is getting away with.

There have been some mind-boggling calls in this series, and every time the camera flashes to Nate he has his hands in his pockets.

I'm not saying he has to go Bobby Knight, but at least make yourself into more than a doormat for the officials to walk all over.

My take on why Nate doesn't argue...It is like the NBA has told him (and our entire franchise) to be company men this season and we will be taken care of down the road. Like it's just not our time yet. You know...the same thing they told Memphis last year when they made them give Gasol to the lakers.

Hey, could it be because this is basically the first time pretty much ANYONE on this team has been in the playoffs? Could it be? Could it?

Hey, it IS the teamates's jobs to tell the PG if there's someone behind him. Nate was too far away, hence why he was telling Outlaw to do it.

Nate was shit today, but we'll move on. This is the first of many playoff series we're going to have in the next couple of years and killing yourself after one game is just stupid.

first off yelling at travis to do something smart is dumb in its own right. but why was nate so far away? he can basically go up to 1/3 of the court and yell at him. and how in the time frame could that have been effective? nate has to get his point across to travis than travis has to turn and yell at blake. was not going to happen.

you are right, it is only one loss and the series may be out of reach but i've been banging the nate isn't that good drum for most of the season and his flaws are magnified in the playoffs.

The play that was drawn up for Rudy should have been the play earlier, no doubt. And I don't know if McMillan is a great x's and o's coach, but the Rockets are a terrific defensive team at taking away a team's strength. I don't think it's a coincidence that Outlaw took that shot - and that Outlaw is the guy the Rockets most wanted to take that shot. You can say that Adelman out-coached McMillan, or you can say the Blazers failed to execute, yet again, or you can give the Rockets credit for forcing the Blazers into shots they didn't want to take. I think it's a combination of all 3. I just hope the Blazers bounce back and win on Tuesday, and then give the Rockets hell in Game 6.

    Link?

Maybe he didn't tell Brandon to stand there. Maybe Brandon screwed up. Roy did have 4 turnovers in the 4th. Should we give him away?

Do you think it's likely the rockets denied Roy and Rudy at all costs, which is why Travis was open?
