    3-1 damnit......3-1

Battier has been mario elie-esque these past couple of games with his defense and clutch shooting. Yao did a much better job tonight of not letting Portland front him. Von and Lowry were huge off the bench. Brooks struggled, but had a huge rebound late. Scola got under Aldridge's skin like usual, Landry showed signs of life, and Chuck gave us a HUGE charge at the end of the game. Ron was off a little tonight and took a couple of questionable shots, but overall he was pretty good (considering his defense).

I'm so proud of this team. They play hard on EVERY possesion on both ends of the floor and have a tough attitude about them that has been missing in years pass.......Let's close this son of a bitch out on Tuesday!!!!

    Go Rockets!!!

which is why I don't understand why Rick doesn't run more plays for Ron in the post. I think he's most affective when he's on the blocks down low.....

I love seeing guys like Wafer, Lowry, Landry come off the bench and still provide the scoring, hustle, and defense. The bench scoring is something that we've been missing in the postseason for the last few seasons. The Rockets are looking better than ever. Although I would love for T-Mac to play during this series, it is just sad that he'll still get criticism for not leading a team past the first round. But oh well, Yao, Artest, Scola, Brooks, and Battier have played their roles perfectly. Again, my prediction was Rockets in 5 and I'm sticking with that! GO RoCkEts!

I'd think that too, especially when finishing with his left. The thing with Artest is that he thinks he's a top-notch shooter, and thus jacks up random shots all the time. Coming off Yao screens, he seems to always be looking to just pull up and shoot, instead of taking it inside or looking for Yao.

How invaluable is a guy like Chuck Hayes? I think the term Johnny on the spot should be changed to Chuck on the spot.

How did it make you guys feel seeing McGrady back on the sidelines last night?

It was truly inspiring .. lol.

I do have this funny feeling that McGrady will be a Laker after his time with the Rockets is over.

I would love for T-Mac to end up screwing over LA. If they are dumb enough to sign him and ruin Kobe's golden years, then they deserve it. Odom out, T-Mac in, Lakers out of the first round.

McGrady would be interesting in that offense. He should be able to handle the ball and "facilitate" in the way Odom does, though he isn't nearly as good in transition or on the boards.

    Odom >>>> Healthy T-Mac

He's been on and off the court for a year, T-Mac just wont be any good when he comes back next year. There's a 50-50 chance he might not ever play in another NBA game.

    GAME FIVE TOMORROW!

The Lakers don't have the cap space for TMac.

I would be surprised if T-Mac gets another contract, more surprised if he got more than the MLE. This is the same man that said he needed surgery to evade being traded at the deadline. No team wants to sign this loser, but I could see him saying something like I've always wanted to play for LA next to Kobe and be a contender. If Kupchak buys it, he loses.

I apologize for derailing the thread. The Rockets can finally get out of the first round tomorrow! Kobe will be waiting in round 2.

If the Lakers get T-Mac then I will have to root for his sorry ass to advance past the first round.

    I don't want that to happen :(

I hate T-Mac. Please don't come to LA.

TMac has always wanted to play with Shaq. Maybe he can follow the Big Twitter to Dallas?

Even though we all think McGrady is gonna leave, I can bet a $1,000 bucks that he'll be a Rocket next season. I just don't see us trading TMac. It wont happen!
