I don't think there is a bias, but it does seem that we're getting more "cheap" calls called against us. I'm not blaming the refs for losing, because we did a good enough job of throwing the game away ourselves. But it does change the course of the game when we've got Pryz and Oden riding the pine and we're forced to stick LMA at C or even worse, Frye.

 

We really don't know if this is true or not, do we? Is it possible that "donnlyism" is still going on? Maybe, maybe not. Just saying.

The bias is not against Portland. The bias is for Yao, and by extension the Rockets. If this doesn't seem clear to you, then I don't really know what to say.

I don't think there's any agenda against the Blazers, just the state of the NBA rewards whiners and complainers.

 

The NBA just wants to setup an epic showdown between Sun Yue and Yao Ming in the 2nd round. Too bad Yi Jianlian is stuck in exile out there in New Jersey, or this would be a Chinese circle-jerk of titanic proportions.
