I simply said there was no "bias". Why would there be? Is this some kind of conspiracy?

OK, then, bias would necessitate intent. Care to venture any guesses as to what the refs might have against the Blazers?

    Probably nothing.

    It's nothing personal.

They are paid an enormous amount of money to do exactly what they are doing.

BTW, one of the things on my "to-do" list when we get out there is to drive up to beautiful Central Oregon and buy you a beer, sir....perhaps at the Decoy?

I don't think there is a bias, but it does seem that we're getting more "cheap" calls called against us. I'm not blaming the refs for losing, because we did a good enough job of throwing the game away ourselves. But it does change the course of the game when we've got Pryz and Oden riding the pine and we're forced to stick LMA at C or even worse, Frye.

We really don't know if this is true or not, do we? Is it possible that "donnlyism" is still going on? Maybe, maybe not. Just saying.:dunno::NOTMARIS:

OK, well, I was planning to extol the virtues of Jerryd. I figured I'd cover myself in that effort.

Why would there be a bias? Marketing, millions of dollars in revenue, and making the favored son of a sixth of the world your poster boy... it leads to job security

The bias is not against Portland. The bias is for Yao, and by extension the Rockets. If this doesn't seem clear to you, then I don't really know what to say.

Are you trying to say that stars are treated like roll players?

Hey, maybe you could use your connections to invite Jerryd and Sergio to join us for a pitcher?

They probably don't even know there's a sunny side of Oregon. :smiley-sun:

I don't think there's any agenda against the Blazers, just the state of the NBA rewards whiners and complainers.

The NBA just wants to setup an epic showdown between Sun Yue and Yao Ming in the 2nd round. Too bad Yi Jianlian is stuck in exile out there in New Jersey, or this would be a Chinese circle-jerk of titanic proportions.

Rudy needs to stretch his eyes out again in an attempt to throw Yao Ming off.
