Re: Von Wafer out tonight well von has been unstoppable almost at some points in the series. barry can shoot but is not even the same in terms of explosiveness...but brent will make the smart play if he is playing late in the game.
Re: Von Wafer out tonight Think Brent Barry could chase Fernandez around for 20 minutes though? With Wafer, the Rockets have a lot more explosiveness and quickness in the backcourt. Barry can still run the court but he's limited defensively at his age. The Rockets also lose a penetrator on offense, although Barry is a much better playmaker and a solid shooter.

Re: Von Wafer out tonight I saw him tweak his back, it was on a drive late. He twisted in the lane and came down funny. At about 3/4 court running back he reached down and grabbed his lower back. I told my friend that he looked a little gimpy after that. I never want anyone to get hurt, and he has been playing well.

Re: Von Wafer out tonight Von Wafer out at home is a good thing for the Blazers . . . I guess Von Wafer out period is a good thing for the Blazers, but it seems home court sets the stage for outside shooter to light it up and have a big night.
