keep whining dude, at least our team made it to the 2nd round!

You guys lost to a team that hadn't even made it out of the first round in the past. WTH??

But Blazers vs Lakers would have been great, Blazers would have had a chance to beat the Lakers.

just like the Rockets have a chance at beating the Lakers 1-0 now! woohoo. Its one of the few things i can celebrate right now.

Don't tell me who to root for. I am rooting for the Lakers to beat the Rockets. A lot of that has to do with wanting to see a Kobe-Lebron final. That intrigues me. I would certainly root for the Cavs to beat the Lakers, but I want to see that matchup if my Blazers are out of the running. Another part of me rooting for the Lakers is a little bit of disdain for the Rockets. I think I understand what Blazinggiants is saying. During the PDX/HOU matchup I was embarrassed for Adelman and Yao's constant whining. Sure, fans whine too, but these guys should act like Grown men. Yao is freaking 7 and a half feet tall. He should never be whining. And Adelman reminded me of how he whined when he was a Blazers coach. At the time I defended him. Now I see how annoying and embarrassing it really is. As for Houston fans, I got no beef with the fans on this board and real Houston fans, but I thought the fans who were at the game were very classless. Act like you have been there before. And dropping N-bombs on players is never defendable, let alone players who are injured and supporting their team. So I have a little bad taste in my mouth for the Rockets and the fans that attended their games. If the Rockets beat LA, I hope the Rockets go to the finals. Dallas and Denver are boring to me. If I can't see a Kobe-Lebron matchup, then I wouldn't mind seeing LeBron going toe to toe with a very good defensive team.

if you don't like whining, i don't see how you could want the lakers to win. gasol, vujacic, and kobe are crying about every single call, even blatant fouls they commit.

I didn't say I want the Rockets to lose for their whining, just that I had some disdain for the Rockets due to their whining. Believe me, I have plenty of disdain for the Lakers too. But I guess what I am saying is that it is not a classic white hats vs. black hats matcup. The Rockets have some warts too from my perspective. If the Blazers aren't in it, the only thing that intrigues me from a fan watching the finals is a Kobe vs. Lebron matchup in the finals. You know that is what Stern is hoping for, as are I suspect most fans of basketball. I aint rooting for the Lakers to win it all, just to get there and lose. If the Rockets beat the Lakers I might be entertained by the Rockets in the finals, but probably significantly less so.
