Pointing at Kobe had nothing to do with anything, his history led him to get an ejection. They thought he was gonna start swining, and therefore threw him out. I think that is really unfair. I mean listening to this guy talk in interviews and they way he takes charge of this team makes you realize how much he has changed and people need to start realizing that.
Yea, I agree that it probably was the right call to give him the technicals. However they should have got the call right on Kobe for elbowing him on the throat. The situation was a bit of a mess because he was pissed Kobe got away with a dirty play.
Artest is a physical player himself. In fact it looks like he got a good deal of Kobe's neck/throat here himself. It's the playoffs, I'm not feeling it that the refs were giving us so much love. We even had less free throws than Houston, they got their due.
So, what does Kobe do in game 3? Kick Yao in the groin perhaps? At what point does the league say enough is enough? Kobe does have a history of throwing those elbows around.
Artest had his entire arm on Kobe's head, he needs to stop complaining about it the throat hit isn't even clear on Kobe's side. When he got suspended before for an elbow it was very clear cut, not like today.
There was a clear wind up by Kobe, so you can't say the contact there is mutual. Where it landed, I can't tell from that angle. I'll take Artest's word for it when he says he got hit in the throat, in which case it should be reviewed by the league and the appropriate rules should apply.
Why should you take his word for it? The league will review it and take the appropriate action, which won't be much. That's a normal foul.
Because a player as tough as Artest wouldn't go crazy about something that didn't happen. Its common sense. Obviously he got pissed because it occured.
So he went crazy for no apparent reason...? Is that what you're trying to tell me. Because that would be stupid considering we have been provided with a video that shows Kobe's elbow going towards Artest, it doesn't take much to believe it did happen. Since Artest did go crazy about it, I'm 100% it did occur. Seriously, these Kobe fans disregard clear things, its annoying.
Right cause players have never acted to get fouls/techs/etc. ? He was mad because he got fouled, then he lost his temper and didn't know how to walk away from the first tech.
Players flop to get fouls called. They don't walk to the official, complain, then be so angry that they go to the player who did that to them and get in their face. It obviously happened. And...he got mad? Your point? Why wouldn't he get mad if he got elbowed? ... can we use a little common sense please? Obviously, we can see Kobe is like god to you and you'll never agree that your god elbowed someone. So we'll just wait and see what NBA decides. Regardless, Kobe is still a dick.
Why shouldn't I? He's not going to get himself thrown out of the game for nothing. He was angry for a reason.
So what is your point over him getting mad? He was mad because he thought he got fouled, then he talked about how physical we are and how fair he plays the game. Normal biased stuff.
Why going off-topic? Point is, Kobe elbowed Artest in the neck, Artest got mad and complained to refs then got in Kobe's face because that was an unnecessary elbow. Why is it so hard to understand for you? You're sitting here arguing it didn't occur.
Based on what? You missed the point entirely. Durvasa admitted he didn't even see it in the gif, he's just taking Artest's word.
