    I still believe Dirk is the most overrated PF in the league.

    no surprise that he made the 1st team, but kobe should have been on the 2nd team behind both wade and paul.

    I completely disagree. He lead his team to the second best record in the NBA and #1 in the West. Kobe Bryant is the best player in the game still. I think you're taking for granted just how good he is.

    He actually had a decent season for the Suns. This just goes to show how much a dropoff there is at the center position. If Al Jefferson qualified as a center I'd edge him over Shaq.

    i'm not taking anything for granted. he lead a much better team to a much better record than those guys. it should have been(and was) expected that the lakers would be better than those teams. just because his team won more games doesn't mean that wade and paul weren't better than kobe this season.

    and no, kobe is not the best player in the game.

    I disagree. He may no longer be the clear-cut best player in the world, but you can definitely make an arguement for him. Without making this into a preach-post, i'll simply say that if I were to make a list. It would be 1a) Kobe and 1b) Lebron. He still plays better defense and is a much more skilled scorer than Lebron.

    Even then, it's pretty damn close.

    I don't have any problem with people saying Lebron has surpassed Kobe. Lebron had a phenomenal season and rightfully deserved the MVP award.

    With that being said, I'm definitely taking Kobe above CP3 above the totem pole. Not that I really care I just want a championship.

    Kobe is one of the most complete players in the game. The fact that he has a good cast means he must defer more if anything, he's never needed support from teammates to polish his numbers. An argument can still be made for him as the best player, especially for the 1st team, with his consistent performances against the top teams this season.
