    Hello darkness, my old friend
Rockets might be the toughest team ever. Over the past few years, they've weathered losing their stars better than any team I've ever seen.

I still expect LA to win game 7 but even if they do, if they have these losses of focus against Denver, they may very well lose the series.

Denver is not as good as Houston. Houston is tough. They beat US and we were a great team this season. If LA wins Game 7, they have a clear path to the Finals.

Man if LA is so weak mentally, I think we could have taken them

I concur, I think the Rockets are tougher than Denver for LA. They matchup pretty decently without Yao at home and have played better without T-Mac this season.

I agree. I would've preferred to be the 8th seed than play the Rockets. I was just hoping we'd get past the Rockets so that we could meet the Lakers. We would've dispatched of them in 6 games.

I think it would have come down to a game 7 in LA regardless, the Blazers seemed off to me a bit due to experience. My prediction for this hypothetical series would be whatever LA does in game 7 Sunday. :]

OMG, thanks for posting that. That was a great moment in the playoffs. Kobe trying to wake up Pau. How come people aren't making a bigger deal about it? Sheed only threw a towel.

I think everyone on the team should have done that to themselves tonight.

    Yeah, but Kobe's was...non-consensual.

    No pun intended?

Like someone else earlier said, Brooks couldn't have asked for better opponents to accentuate his footspeed.

It doesn't matter what happens in Game 7 vs. the L*kers. Man, the Rockets have proven me wrong in just about every respect. I thought they couldn't compete without McGrady. I thought they were dead in the water against the L*kers. I thought they'd get swept after they lost Yao. Their grit has blown me away. Rick Adelman is doing the best coaching job of his Hall of Fame coaching career. That is a team that can feel great about their season no matter how it turns out.

Also, with no Tracy and Yao in the game, he is forced to become a 1st or 2nd option on offense. He can score we all know that, but when he tried to become a playmaker he seemingly was committing turnovers right and left. I am a huge Brooks fan due to his Duck background, but don't drink too much of the Brooks kool-aid. The matchups have been PERFECT for him and he is able to become a scoring point guard without deferring to the big 2. He is still an above average point guard, but lets see what he does next year when he isn't allowed to be the 1st or 2nd option.

Why is Kome telling Pau to wake up, wasn't he the one shooting 10-23 from the floor?
Shit, all dude is now is a glorified jump shooter.

Yeah dude, he just blows at driving and drawing free throws. Battier has locked him up every night.
