Are they desperate to offload Z-Bo now?

Memphis second - shame our GMs hate each others' guts! I can see Wallace taking and keeping Rubio just because Pritchard might want him.

If not, though, what player would they like? Thabeet?

If they had any sense, they would've been desperate to offload him long ago.

That does not mean they are not wiser now.

Oh heck, it's the Clips. Who are we kidding? :dunno:

How long - they just picked him up!

How much money do they have tied up in their frontcourt of Randolph, Camby and Kaman? And now Griffin?

They are in a bittersweet situation. They land the first pick, but Griffin is a PF and so is Randolph and he's virtually untradable. Both are too undersized to play center, plus they have Camby and Kaman.

They wouldn't be wise to choose Rubio with Baron signed long-term.

I think it's reasonable to say they're open to trades.

EDIT: Which could be bad if Memphis wants to move up.

Fucking NBA!!!! The western conference really needs to let the JV league win the lottery more often. We have enough talent out here already. Rose and Beasley are nice, but WTF?

All things being considered, The Clippers are the best of the three to win if you are a Blazer fan though.

The East had 4 of the 5 picks in that 2003 draft. Pistons fault they fucked up and picked Darko, but Toronto and Miami still got Bosh and Wade. Hell, the east even got Howard and Okafor.

The Hawks could have have Paul or Deron in 2005 but they selected Marvin Williams. Then Toronto selected Bargnani over Roy and Aldridge.

The east is just ran by morons.

I think they're gonna demand someone takes back Randolph and that would put the other team in the same predicament.

Hence why they're in the lottery.

Why so, its not like they're in a super great position right now to make the playoffs in the next two years.

They can afford to wait one year and deal Randolph as a $17 million expiring contract and get some talent back.

Does Memphis have a lot of cap room? I can see them offering the #2 pick and taking on a bad Clipper contract or two for the #1. Then if the Clippers can swap Baron back with the Warriors, they could take Rubio (whom Dunleavy is said to be high on).

I would pick Griffin then Trade if Rubio slips to 3 and get some depth back from OKC.

If the Clippers take Griffin is drafted by the Clippers his career is over.
