Oh I dunno I didn't even watch it. Just know that he sent the game to OT and hit a 3. lawlz Magic won though we are fucked.
I noticed the Magic could never stop Bron from getting the ball on pretty much every inbounds down the stretch, thought that was interesting.
Today the Cavs gave Joe Smith's minutes to Wally, he got 20 after being sparingly used for a while. He still couldn't do much.
Black Mamba, Shape, etc.. have you gone to laker games ever? Are the tickets really that expensive (haven't seen the prices).
I'm worried if we face Orlando. We don't match up well with them because of the pick & roll they use and we're terrible at defending the 3 point shot because or rotations are always late. Lakers would need Lamar Odom to really step up because he's the best option we have at defending Shard & Hedo in those pick & rolls. LeBron had 7 turnovers late in the game yesterday. I wonder what happens with this team if they get bounced and how nervous they'll be about him not re-signing in Cleveland? All season long we talked about how vulnerable the Cavs were on the road against quality teams. It's shown up in this series and LeBron's supporting cast has disappeared.
As much as I wanted to play the Cavs in the Finals, I LOOOOVVVEEE seeing them struggle. I've been saying all season and all playoffs that they're completely overrated. They're a one man team that beats up on a crap teams and struggles against good teams. They're now what, 4-9 against the Magic, Celtics and Lakers this season? Something like that? They're overrated. Period.
I was kind of worried about having to win in Cleveland with the amount of calls James is getting. He's earned a good portion of them like Shape said in another thread, but still I'd rather not have to face someone getting better treatment than Shaq in his prime. That said James was called for five fouls last night, haven't seen that in a long time. Either opponent we get we'll obviously have to man up.
Damn... if we face Orlando (if we get past denver) EVERYONE has to man up since Orlando is a team who's strengths are our weaknesses.
I was just wondering... Is there a stat that shows how much the player has the ball in his hands? Cause I swear Lebron must have that ball a good 90% of the game.
Not that I am aware of, but yeah I think you are correct about that. He doesn't play off the ball nearly as much as other perimeter stars.
I just wanted to know because I've watched probably every Laker game this season and I could swear that Kobe touches it at least 6/10ths the amount of time Lebron does. Not sure about Wade though. Then again, I could really care less about Wade.
There's a reason why people like LeBron and AI average 7+apg, and that's because they dominate the ball. He almost always has the ball to initiate the offense or lead the break or whatever.
