there is considerable chatter out there which suggests that johnson may be targeted by the raptors? draft express has now come on board - adjusting their mock lottery to reflect johnson going to the raptors and the other forums are also claiming inside info about johnson coming to the raptors. this is the sum of all fears- johnson is a portly tweener between a 3 and 4 and simply cannot guard the quick three's in the league like lebron, caron butler, etc. plus, in spite of his offensive skills- he is the second option on his college team. i honestly believe he's the black hoffa waiting to happen

Size to skill ratio is BC's favourite saying. JJ has it. If you don't like him, be worried.

At 9? I wouldn't mind the pick if he traded back and got something else in addition, but at 9 it's way too much of a reach IMO.

i know. apparently bargnani has lots of it and he if u watched yesterdays press conference he also mentioned the psychological tests as well. two things- the size to skills clearly omits lateral quicks and psychological tests are a farce.

This could(and should) be just be a smokescreen because GSW has put out there own interest about Johnson at #7. Man I need this draft to come now, so this chatter can stop.

with all the talk of change this offseason- the only thing it looks we're getting is delfino, johnson (at #9?), evans and mle. that isnt change, its more of the same!!!

Maybe but BC can still get something done with Marion.

We probably have the most money to offer Shawn, well most money + decent roster.

True, but it seems 33% likely that we're keeping him right now. Which to me is a shame because I thought the O'Neal + pick deal we made for Marion was a bad one if we didn't choose to use him (either keep him or trade him), and it seems like there is a chance we just let him walk.

I agree chances are much higher he could walk, but I haven't heard any other teams with interest in him. That fact is what makes me think he stays, the lack of reported interest.

Well it could be the case that BC is shutting GM's down when they inquire about him--or that he is overpriced for what he contributes. I can't help but feel he is as good a role player as a guy like Richard Jefferson, though, who just went.

BC talks about marion like he's still an all star. marion's best days are behind him and honestly i wasnt too fond of him when he was an all star. he still cant shoot nor really do much of anything else offensively in the half court
