I hate when I read stuff like this from writers or bloggers:

I mean, shit, we had the third-highest total attendance in the league (20,524 per game); the second-highest capacity percentage in the league (102.7%); and the second highest televison ratings in the league behind Cleveland (despite having the issues with Comcast in the region). Not to mention we had well over 15,000 fans pack Pioneer Square on a weekday for over four hours for a pre-playoff rally.

"Will return" my ass. It's back.

Blazermania isn't back yet. Just because yuppie scumbags can buy up tickets...no. Until we get absolutely bat shit insane, Blazermania is a goal, not something we are already at son!

What the fuck are you talking about? A lot of people at the games have stuck with the team through the bad times. I see the same hard core people at the games now that I did when I started buying season tickets during the bad times. The other people in the arena come and go, who is sitting in the seats changes every night. But the people that I know are fans, have been there the whole time. Good and bad.

Miller isn't going to usher in a new era of Blazermania.

Dude can't shoot. At all. He will cost too much for too little.

I disagree. It's back. You probably don't have a sense of it, because you're in LA.

For his career, he averages 14.6 PPG! Not being able to shoot the trey doesn't mean the guy is a liability on offense.

He is an actually, pass first PG. He also gets after people on defense. If his playmaking makes LMA, Oden, Rudy, Batum, et al better - I don't care if he shoots 1 friggin' three the entire season!

You might as well argue with a rock. Compared to HUSTLA, I've found them to be brighter and far more open-minded.

Since Miller is way at the tail end of his career I don't think that 14.6 PPG average amounts to much.

I did want Portland to try and get Miller. But that was in 2001.

Now I just think he would be an expensive defensive liability instead of Blake who is a cheap one.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Miller can get to the hoop and score, and hit open mid-range shots, so I agree...he's not a scoring liability. He won't "stretch the floor," but he is capable of punishing defenses that leave him open. And his distributing skills would be a huge help for all the developing young players.
