Now that we have Hedo, who is the PF we are targeting (according to Quick)? What about a sign and trade for nate rob and david lee. We could ship out blake, webs, trout and a future first. Lee would have to agree to less than 10 mil but given how little market there seems to be, why not?

    Portland trades:
Blake, Travis, Martell (~12mil combined), future 1st
    NY signs and trades:
David Lee (signed for 8mil over 5yrs) and nate rob (signed for 4mil over 1-3yrs depending on market)

    Rotation After:
Bayless/Robinson (bayless would have to be starter for defensive reasons)
    Roy/Fernandez
    Hedo/Batum
    Aldridge/Lee
    Oden/Pryzbilla

To be honest I haven't really researched too much of the details, but I dont think anyone has made any kind of bid for Lee. I think blake fits a little better right now for us than nate rob but nate rob and brandon are friends and a reliable shooter like blake at the point might convince walsh and d'antoni to pull the trigger. Besides, we know that with Hedo on the team, ballhandling at the point suddenly has taken a backseat to defense, and Jerryd's inevitable ascension to the starting point position has probably been sped up. Plus nate rob's speed would fit right into our run and gun second unit.

The target is Ronny Turiaf, which I would be good with. I'd be ecsatic if we can get Milsap but I doubt Utah will deal with us.

I'm on the Turiaf bandwagon as well. He makes a pretty reasonable $4 mil per year over the next three seasons.

David Lee is not a backup.

Is it possible to filter out any post that mentions David Lee as a possibility? For months it as been obvious he's never coming to Portland, yet it is still being brought up.

It makes zero sense to bring him in, on either side.

Outlaw for Bass? I'd be thrilled with that

    4-team trade:

    Lee[NY] & Blake[PDX] & Cardinal[Minny] to Utah;

    Outlaw[PDX] & Millsap[UT] to New York;

    Bayless[PDX] & Boozer[UT] to Minny

    Flynn[Minny], Nate R.[NY] & AK47[UT] to Portland

Works at realgm's tradechecker, but does not take into consideration Lee & Nate as free-agents and their future salaries! Similarly, Flynn's rights are not figured into this mix. We need Tom Penn!

    Nate R./Flynn/Mills
    Roy/Rudy
    Turk/Batum/Webster
    LMA/AK47/Pendergraph
    Oden/Pryz

You can forget David Lee. Ain't happening.

Not really a great fit for us or for him either. What's the point.

If there is in fact a "target", I would think Ronnie Turiaf.

Who knows if Golden State would move him, but he would be a decent fit for the Blazers.

Ronnie is a backup caliber player who wouldn't demand to start or starter minutes.

Ronnie is a 4/5 - not a 4 only or a 4/3. This is a better fit in our rotation.

If we trade Outlaw for Ronnie our frontline rotation has flexibility and injury proof depth:

LaMarcus can play 4 or 5.
Hedo can play 4 (and 3).
Ronnie can play 4 or 5.
    Greg and Joel are 5's.

With Ronnie (or a similar 4/5 type big), we are covered if we have an injury. If we get a forward who can't really play the center spot, then we would have to also bring in a 3rd string center.

Kurt Thomas. He's no use to the Bucks, but we could certainly use him.
