(This post sounds like it's attacking you... sorry! I'm not. Just don't want to re-type it. ;) )

I've got an idea: how's about we get a POINT GUARD?

You know, someone who can dribble and pass?

That way we can let forwards contribute without having to share PG duties with our shooting guard.

I don't think you have a very good memory here, dude. Lamar Odom has played small forward for much of his life.

Draft day trade. Like Aldridge and also Rudy. Kp does well adding young talent. KP, so far, sucks at adding pieces to that talent.

You are the one who mentioned those forwards.

Who can we get as a PG? Miller? Bibby?

I remember him as a PF for the Heat and Lakers. I'm assuming he was a SF for the Clippers? Didn't follow him then.

KP wrote down a name entering free agency.

    Carlos Delfino.

    5 years, $50m.

I'd be seriously disappointed if we used our capspace, for the most part, on Andre Miller.

    Portland has several options actually.

Miller and Bibby can be signed outright as UFA's
Sessions can be signed to a large offer sheet and force Milwaukee to match it or do a S&T
Hinrich and others could be had for nothing because of our cap space. Teams looking to cut salary.

Hopefully his plan B will be like how "Black Water" by the Doobie Brothers was originally the B-side of "Another Park, Another Sunday".

I like Bibby, what do you think about him as an option? Also trying to find that other ball handler, I looked at guards with some long spendy contracts. I wonder if Philly wants to blow the team up and move Iguodola or for some reason Sacramento wants to trade Kevin Martin (not sure why they would).

That list doesn't excite me too much.

I would be real upset if we signed Bibby. I hope we don't take a gamble on Sessions. Miller has never proven to be a winner, but he might be our best bet.

I'd rather come out of this with Brandon Bass and Shannon Brown, and not sign a bad contract.

How do you know it was an insincere ploy just to get a better deal from another team and not simply a standard bidding situation and he took the best offer?

I don't think Bibby is better than Blake anymore. If he is, he isn't much better. Their strengths and weaknesses are the same.

Fucking hilarious. No joke. I was just thinking, when this is all over, KP will say, "July 1st, I wrote down 2 names." Both will be Blazers on July 8th, despite being, what we would perceive from the media, choices 6a and 9b.

I think the big difference is experience and fact that Bibby is a much better player in the clutch.

I don't know if what we gain in experience makes up for his incredibly slow footspeed on defense and streaky shooting. The guy just stands 30ft away from the hoop and chucks.
